Position: Contact Center Representative II (Indianola Location)
Responsibilities
- Identify customers and provide accurate, professional service to ensure security and operational integrity
- Engage customers to understand needs and recommend appropriate bank products and services
- Open, close, and maintain consumer and business accounts, including checking, savings, CDs, IRAs, HSAs, and online banking
- Maintain strong product knowledge and actively cross‑sell bank and subsidiary products
- Monitor and respond to messages in the main voice mailbox
- Escalate sensitive or complex situations to the appropriate Officer as needed
Additional Responsibilities
- Balance cash drawer and assist with vault accuracy as assigned
- Support special projects, reports, and serve as departmental backup when needed
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- One year of banking, receptionist, or call center experience preferred
- Strong customer service orientation with a professional and positive attitude
- Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment
- Comfortable working for extended periods on the phone
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
