Concrete Laborer - La Vista

As we continue to expand, we’re looking for an experienced Concrete Laborer in the Omaha market. Key Responsibilities - Preparing the Site: Assist with material and equipment staging for maximum efficiency; set up and align forms to create walls, pillars, walkways, and other structures - Mixing and Pouring Concrete: Assist in maintaining a proper supply of concrete so that operations remain constant - Finishing Concrete Surfaces: Guide the concrete to the proper place; direct the driver of the mixing truck as to where to best be positioned; smooth and finish surfaces of poured concrete, such as floors, walks, sidewalks, roads, or curbs using a variety of hand and power tools - Cleanup: General clean-up of site and building organization; track small tools used and store appropriately at the end of the workday Qualifications - Ability to work productively alone or with others - Problem-solving abilities - Communicate effectively - Work efficiently and effectively - Be self-motivated - Ability to make sound decisions - Must be able to remain calm during stressful situations and work through any challenges or issues which may arise - Must be able to know when to ask for help when a job task exceeds their skills or abilities If you are looking for company that provides a competitive wage and great benefits, opportunities for career advancement and professional development, a positive and collaborative work culture and the ability to engage in exciting and diverse projects that challenge and inspire, please apply!
